Many of us allow negative self-talk to drive our behavior. So, should there be any doubt why many of us don’t realize our full potential?
You must rise above the negative self-talk and move toward a positive self-expectancy conversation with our inter-self.
You get what you expect out of life not what you want. With this in mind compose a list of real things you expect out of life. Decide to review this list daily, give it permission to become a part of your life.
I review my expectancy list first thing in the morning, quiet moments during the day and just before I go to bed at time. I don’t let this interfere with my devotional time but an addition to.
This process allows your conscious and sub-conscious mind to connect in meaningful ways thus playing a role in transforming your life. Oh-by- the-way this is not any overnight thing; you must be committed for the long haul.
Speaking with purpose Nation (SWAP Nation), this process works for me.
Quote of the week: “Expectancy is the atmosphere for miracles.” Edwin Louis Cole
Word of the week: Self-talk – The act or practice of talking to oneself, either aloud or silently and mentally.
Ask yourself: What do you expect out of life? If you don’t share with me I will still know. (:
Speaking With a Purpose: “I help you bridge the gap between … Where you are verses where you want to be.” My ultimate goal – help you become a better you!
Until next time,
Houston out!
