It’s humbling to be standing here with some of the most important people on the plant – Educators – Both Teachers & Administrators!
You are world shapers and difference makers. Our world needs you!
Each of you is a one of a kind masterpiece put on this earth to do something only you can do!
Collectively, the Anniston City School System Team is extraordinarily powerful. And to maximize that power we must engage the gifts and abilities of all – no matter position or title.
For there will never be a person who is more important than any other, no matter how they look and no matter what kind of work they do.
Moving forward to make our school system the best it can be, we must have a district – Vision, Mission, Strategy, Value system and Action Plan, so that we move together cohesively – with a focus on preparing our students to be – College, Military or Job ready.
We are not trying to make the Anniston School System what it once was – that was a season, never to be repeated.
Are we trying to make a comeback? Yes, we are. But, please know – A come back is not a go back! It’s the search and discovery of a new season.
Each student is a miracle in motion that needs our support to become who they were put here to be.
The Board is committed to doing what we can do. Can we count on you to move to an improved position and state of mind?
