What greater crime can there be against love than being resigned – reluctantly surrendering to it?
There are two kinds of joy: the joy born of love and wonder and the joy born of love and knowledge. Before you experience the second joy, you will find discipline, disappointment, and almost disillusionment.
When it is said, “No one will take away your joy.” Do not regret the first joy, but realize that the second is the greater gift.
There is a purpose for disappointments, and it’s not a lack of His love. If you believe, joy will come in the morning and be right on time.
