The world in which we live is very chaotic due to the instability in our sociological structure. What do I mean? The things used to give us stability have eroded and are in decline, i.e., community, neighborhoods, family, spiritual beliefs, civic engagement, service above self, public education, a duty to God and country, discipline, character, honor, self-respect, and more.
We are more connected electronically today than ever before, but yet we are so disconnected. Real human interaction is less than any time that I can identify in history. Because of this factor, social media groups form with no real understanding of each value system other than we agree on a single point-a-view. A recipe for further destruction of foundational elements of the world as once known.
Very little is based on facts today. All one needs is an opinion and a platform the followers will come to. Why? We don’t want to read and research to know what’s going on. It’s easier to go along to get along – for some anyway. The before statements explain the vacuum of leadership in our community, state, country, and world.
We are on a journey to a different place – we will be stronger in some ways but weaker in other – a decline in wisdom.
The fight for dominance in the new world order has just begun, and I don’t look forward to how men will destroy each other for money and perceived power as they control neither.
